Reading 1 Outline

It is the job of an illustrator to start from a blank space and turn it into an articulate and creative message for an audience. It is the job of the writer to do the same. It is the job of the graphic designer to marry the two. They orchestrate the work of the illustrator, the typographers, and the photographers, combining good images and good writing, creating a stronger message than they would be separately. Photos have the power to communicate instantly, communicate with anyone, regardless of age or location, and are visually delightful. On the other hand, words are able to be specific about the message with great accuracy as well as reveal a message slowly. These messages can be portrayed on television, movies, in books, on packaging, and on the internet. Understanding the difference between fine art and applied are is important to know your role in things.
